Featuring narotamm Arayal

Deep-dive conversation with narotamm Arayal who are shaping the future of Nepal's industry, tech, and creative landscape.

Narottam Aryal: My point is, this is a petition for power and publicity, a deep dialogue. Did you mention that humanity is a civilization only if they reflect, where there is a civilization and nothing else? Then I respect Hugh, because I die on Super Nintendo, personal image, I heal, more kappa. To keep these bananas of mine humble, you are not wiser than others, you are not stronger than others, you are not more intelligent than others. No, or car, turbine, and output, or much of my hero finds Fellini a great corn. So when we create something and note it at a certain level, dissatisfaction, again through the race, to deepen. Oh, Tony, use which method? In India, on a key, only in ideas, although some of your souls are only in innovations, they are forgotten. Let's say we create, it's going to secure data. So moving forward, Anna, what do I say when I say you went through the obstacle? Keep it. Haven't you been given a petition? We are not the reference of originality. For my sake, I am using LD reference soon. I am a format type in co-variant. He can be original. You want X, the most optimal. Acosta film, please, please, please, good. Sorry, they read Korea Ramallah. Sorry, son, like you, set up as an actor. Bernie, and this was Sanjay, and this was criminal. I ABS, of course, uh, Belarus, in this Cathy region, to ethereal, a theory saw a monstrously charming. So, and I have created integration deficiencies. A small reference touching Maxwell, from one of them, to a caustic writer. And this humanity cannot do it. By Ducati Tom, when it is, I have no organization. Coke does it. So call the hierarchy Motola, when colleagues work, I am Tom Wookie Hominum, and they were no eggs. And Uncle Vernon said to keep such a lazy piece of iron away in Super Soul. No answer. And this will be correct. It can be a dealer in tattoos. And this virtue, Uncle, algebra Nama, to submit details in that advertisement, he literally cried Holocaust. So that's my point. This is a petition for power and publicity, like in the elite, Comanche, that you are related to it. So I am Lee Mang. I know commodification like Emily's thing, Cubalí gathering's taste. Brown means I came in. It leads me to do it differently. So I keep the idea. Doctor KPIs, cookies, doctor, when the cost of a new birth, you will imagine. Girl doctor, lovely Abuelita, completely three times, and so on. 70 teachers are getting here. Like my teacher, this Auntie Seventeen attracts each other. Children are not dirty, but it's a good theory, like eternity was a theory. Order Pony, I should share. Girl. So it's a good theory. Pony questions, you may have, but remember Charlie's moral principles, because you are a principal. Penny questions, as Chrissy, when the present is a perfect mirror observation, again, I could be completely wrong. He is a good principal. Kim Soo-ro is internal. Authority means something. Teacher Chris, you are not that either. Wow, middle, but Ali, America, really, they were not Christian there. I know co-principal, Kena, teacher's philosophies, curious, skilled, when it was Co, photo, poly, Ponte, soil comments, happy, and they don't switch off. Our school, Co, Jalisco, money's corner, pints, advertised. Currently, so I am a small eye-selling corner. Are you trading, or going to trade your own, or access, like knocking? Do you know that Qi Lab, anyway, it really tackles you. Kabbalah Timmy, I work in millennials. When you email most of the article, but I think I am a socialist, first list. Hine, communist, twenty, Hine. I know Matthias. Political ideology partner. Now I say, I believe in humanity. I believe in freedom, personal freedom. So they sent Ram to Samir, or in philosophy. Sorry, but then my dear, he makes you a liquid young generation in millennials. When the sons of your eyes have already ordered resurrection, which is really good. I have let heavy capitalism live completely. You are the level of Paria. I am not living. Standing for life. My point is, internal materialistic feeling. I am recording the economic feeling. So any that is great, I completely admire. And I believe in the free market, and that's all good. At the same time, cute keto, liquid, intracellularly, oil. This eternally does DN. Is this Caballo? And your industrial age limit, Eli, oil allocates inequality greatly. You and I, the lack of environment, power. They can hear enough. And this zombie thing, or its acoustic humanity, but ours first, because Dick, he says resurrection, good. That's like my aunt, the young generation. You are a small ad corner. For the sake of socks, I know this is really narrowly no success. Like defined gore. That at the end of the day, Emily Hammer, society throws away the rhizome's pereda, throws away broadly. Oh, that's the way to keep it. No change. Success can go. Doctor, success, QPI, change. God keeps the teacher. Success, cookie. I change. Gordon, this witch, entrepreneur, successful, QPI, change. Whenever I'm going to parse, the same way again. So I'm really done on Saturday. Miley argued thirteen, twenty-one points. I think many minutes, worried American parents, and twenty, mother's rhetoric, success. My tune is really more. Peter Bird, emotionally happy. Mainly Mira, no student of success. Attention is on the board. So, so pass it. And let's assume a true teacher, that they will let a subset live. And they kicked one. So edu, real, true, passionate, or proud teacher, hope. And this is it. No ports, no key usage. Something you buy heavily on Sony. External rewards from your external are the ones that sound, not internal rewards. Bike-O society, no one says humanity. Cooking with race in the room, after the nucleus, there is a mirror. My point is, 80 llama or year, dance disco reflects Cynthia. So now I stand with my idea. I also work here as a social media consultant. Content, nor proximity, create. It's a lot of French Guiana. And I think what the Kings call it. I know what to call it. Take some time. Of course, thank you. You guys should eat on the Kings podcast. I know. And you should talk about what kind of mindset or teacher you should be again. I think this could be a way to drill my upper hips, because they were at Kings College, who were in that position. Let's assume cute Una Kosa, reports of impurity, arrogant Hollywood genre. I think that will be N's T. Come on, let's do it through our PD. Cuban disclaimer, coupon process, part of it. Angry Rocky, you know, we keep it, because we are doing this, we have the right to talk about it. Defend the main loud voice, and clear a pile of references. I order an interesting, a bitter fact. A house company, order, private institution, give it to me. I always give. I'll go get second in Toyota obstacles. How high? Someone, of course, we should break that obstacle. That Semena Q Tenia, okay. Kings College liquor, number seven. And we should, I know, to open this message. So why don't you start another way? Start the week in detail. It's already seven. So of course, I can adjust an institution, twenty friends. So let's assume my or father teaching, can be recorded as my ass Amaya. Contributions are recorded. Oh, my point is, so he let me know that you can trust Molly. You might have material to shed light on those documents. Okala pants said well, you will definitely be a sauce course, garlic Nizam. So later, inspire for a zucchini. And this was Heidi. I trust them. I trust them a lot. I interact with time one hundred and ninety percent. Like if you, if you divide the object, I move to senior Manchester on the internet. To do elements, somewhat corny time elements, and ninety percent side moves to junior youth, or seventy percent to people, 3 years. So that's a smart way. Many things are not very generous in balanced, highest, crushed, and became very narrow in my dismissal. Solomon, oil production, now the camera has been exchanged. Say, no energy, learning for the second time, seen, no. I am, they were uneducated. Going to the second thing, rich. So the idea is, pots, Saddam, I need a source. Ahead, for no reason, logical innovation. Good night. Our sign is science. And I really believe in you. Otherwise, your kisses, behind the web, video, please. And this was Heidi. I will please go listen to Gallic units. I hear you telling me. I look at the model of the Matilda generation. Criticism of hypnosis, Guru Purnima, Poutin Sony. Oh, also please, card. I can say, inside Gallic, not a supporter. It's a planet that I saw in the third processor. Now what I don't do. I think we did it. Can't say anything. Karen, girl. My point is, so we young teachers, or because I keep an eye on open liquid. Saw a helper, saw unlearning. Saw a sock. Gorkha, I will respect his dirt. Salsa society, bill came. Do not serve in any area. Maybe Britta, race, again, clothes, Gigi. If that belief, then respect. If I don't believe, you will kick Ernie, Ernie. And we are the American Ernie agenda. Again, about rates. I will not adjust your agenda because I don't respect you. But then why do you work to respect someone first? So society has ended. My point is, personal interests, ERISA. That's absolutely fine. When Timmy commented, Olerud, corner, modular seed, society's interest, Lithuanian. Anup Ghimire: That's something King's College has to do, right? Anything can happen there. Why don't you start, or why don't we collaboratively start it? Narottam Aryal: If you say it's necessary, then of course it is. That's why I admire institutions like Teacher Nepal, Karkhana, even Rato Bangla, who are doing new work in teaching, making significant contributions. Yes, when I say this now, I'll reveal something else. I face a lot of accusations, criticism, even insults regarding this. I believe in young people a lot, I have immense trust. Anup Ghimire: Why the insults? Narottam Aryal: I'll tell you why. And behind that, I trust them, I have a lot of confidence. If you divide my time, say 90% of my time interacting with seniors versus juniors or contemporaries, it's 90% with juniors and young people, and only 10% with them. Anup Ghimire: That's a smart way to learn more things. Narottam Aryal: Exactly. It's true. Anup Ghimire: Yes. Narottam Aryal: Absolutely, that's it. The previous generation, from whom I learned, was already accomplished, right? That doesn't mean I discard them. But if you ask where more can be learned, new things can be learned from the new generation. New mindset, they can unlearn, thinking, "Oh, I used to think like this, but it's actually like this." They can learn new things about technology and innovation. And I truly, truly believe it, otherwise, this too becomes a cliché. Anup Ghimire: Ah, please. Narottam Aryal: And the reason for the insults is that people think saying that means looking down on or criticizing the older generation. Yes, because of that, I face insults, I'm called names. They think it's just an overstatement. Anup Ghimire: That it's just an overstatement. Narottam Aryal: That kind of thought process, it's not that it doesn't exist. And the reason I say that is that young educators have a slightly more open mindset, a bit more collaborative, they can unlearn, they can respect and trust each other. If you look at how society is built, there are two fabrics. Anup Ghimire: What two? Narottam Aryal: One is trust, and the other is respect. Anup Ghimire: Nice. Nice. Narottam Aryal: If I don't trust you, what will I do? How will we work? If I don't respect you, it's just my own agenda. Anup Ghimire: Why would you work? Narottam Aryal: No, it becomes my own agenda. I don't accommodate your agenda because I don't have respect for you. Anup Ghimire: But then why will you work for someone whom you don't respect? Narottam Aryal: Absolutely. That's why when we, as individuals, have our own interests. That's absolutely okay. That's why you and I collaborating doesn't mean you should give your interests to society above all else. HOST: Anup Ghimire GUEST(S): narotamm Arayal Narottam Aryal: I saw it in the third processor, now what will I do? I don't think we did this, I can't say. Because, girl, I mean, that's why we, young teachers, or because I keep an eye on open liquid, I saw a supportive, I will unlearn, I saw socks, Gorkha, I will respect his mess, Salsa society, the bill came, don't serve in any area, maybe Britta, race, again clothes, Gigi, if that belief, then respect, if I don't believe, you will kick Arni Arni, and we are the American Arni agenda, again about the rates, I won't adjust your agenda because I don't have respect for you, but then why do you work to respect someone first? So society has ended. I mean, personal interests, ERISA, that's absolutely fine. When Timmy commented, Ole Rud, corner, modular, seed, society's interest, Lithuanian society, like, I mean, corner, banana, sacrifice, we have a common agenda, okay? Come on, mother, three-sided, general good, it's either yes, yes, I know, blow yourself up, a team, lines, ranger, amla, circle, traffic, viewers, that Ram, upside down, team, night, some light, sensor, inside, so many cookies, never start, rules, sorry, TTL, on my own, sir, how much coexistence, course, only exactly, close people, practice freedom, CEO, going into me, my socks, like, paradoxical, given, do you know, this mind, psychology says people are free, unique sociology sees, we live in a society, every paradox is needed, ha, it's like this, mother, IRA doesn't have many reflections, IQ, when AIDS says no, I know myself, Daphne, reflection, through man, Pena, or again, they were civilization, when a major reason, truly ignore, reflection, where I give civilization, and nothing, but I respect you all, so my lips, Monica, Rachel, Ira, my Roku, dice, across, money, babbling, when I'm respecting hunter, Ian's mail, rock, Cooper, tacos, bottom up, on Butler, I'm respecting that traffic rule, because Lahar, my name, respect, such a powerful word, race, again, practically, told me it was here, do you respect the belief boy, when a man sucks three months, so in another way, the public good will never be thick, for a long time, I won't regret it, quality of life, it happened, okay, I'm a selfie, I know, yes, education, Aram industry, spin, and victim, Barry, Enthah industry, can do with immunity, sleep, Pyro, Ponza wasn't, that education, Aram road, I hit you, and sulfur is running, when the air, caliber, slug, divorce is called silicon boogie, range, again, Heinemann, the Timmy, kind, near, relatively large area, Puki, the rain, sir, so Mopani, Timmy, pencil, Sonya, come, let's work together, because these are common areas, Jan, Kan, A, Masonic, I am very closely, overall society, progress is one, so go last, Cyril, that's it, he opens you, open, boost up, Andre, really, when there's a smile in fear, knew they were a civilized society, Materia, Turei, Parker, Lonergan, green, lost the traffic rule, under corny humor, he seemed to respect it, when he gathered Q, panic, to lament you, any small bit, icky, when it avoids thinking about the cube, Miley respects Gurian, apples, and Subway, can say Tiara, time, overall, Mathesonduo, peninsula, which means respect, like ownership, major respect, my ownership, all of you know me, like bosses, he knows, I will never take responsibility, governors, SPI, no one allows your freedom, I do, lack of equal respect, again, I know, wooden facility, let my feet go, for example, Melanie, Coy, Coy, Coy, voice, might sound like a mouse is waiting, you got it, Timothy is bothering me, Nina, I'm another, oh, yes, Amika, another liquid, about the generation, illegal, link cut, basic, my packets, as a choice, you can say your civilization, Anna, oh, Miami, truthful to particles at your core, so after the mouse's body, I can now have a group that truly lacks comfort, powerfully, our mouse, DQ, is very special, by orcas, it will specifically distract or develop society, making Garkhan with me on the weekend, you're scared, Ernie, we can say, like Utah, there are days of particle nurse, Satsuki, the monster of freedom, given, car dagger, they, or Kaku, freedoms, discuss Whitney, about Najusaya Adalah, right lights, and car, or new Deuce, or deep goal, so powerful, that I know, how I am more powerful than that, it's over a mile, when you go on educated leave, in that case, girl, Saturday, it seems like you know, and it's a source of new values, I mean, teachers wear ties, and burning, Milana might have wanted Annunaki, want to land someone, you know, you don't know, the amount of time I've spent with young people, and even once saw, a young person, some theories of Indians, and its taste, gives importance to men recently, because Watson, there's not much light education to field, honey, it was almost nine months, Italian and cancer, mainly no Menem, this synthetic plastic, you know, I can't tell you, I know, and if you can look at the basics of multimedia, there should be context, desire, and pronounce multimeter, I mean, it's a vague industry, until one day, I think Melissa only does it, context, mother, confused, I have to get my report out, yes, interests should also be shaken, what do you control, what will happen on Telegram, it was like two different innovations, offering time in my presentation, focused, okay, everyone should be involved, everyone should be faced, everyone else, we speak, more time, public speaking says, it should be part of a group, part of a focus cover, curiously, for Yona's class, until the context wanted to present, it's not much, for Kottarakar, multimedia, interesting idea, externally, Pitts car, not present, basically, I was good like you, Tom xi, nothing in context, Mosini, Arabic, Austin, was from everyone, because after college, I also work as a marketing video Gurukul, I know they have Ducati play ideas, Roger, answering me, Lipitor, no legs, I knock, you know, how you look at the picture, or go into the target audience, you will do prenatal ecosystem, and if, let's say, we are Amira, marketing, mentally, to be Cathy, generous, and that reactor segment is a series, realizing what Morrison's sideburn was incredibly, and opening your coastal season, Toyota, personally, through this, Super Nintendo, Nico, title, Kappa, appeared, these, to keep my banana, Suki, humble, yes, mother, I made it as toast, I cover the mirror like Matheny, support two lanes, and Hina, he's a kind of mentor, advisor, I'm not a recruiter, who has done a lot, and it was here, while unknown area, vanity, ocean, and a small boat on the island, which is a type of ocean, island, dick, located behind the timely, Corocut, intimate social life, code, again, spirituality, layout, a year, Lisa, company, that peg, there's no cold, cold, cold, it eats me, underworld, Hakama, I might like it, it might be interesting, my father's type, by Purcell, my only chance might not be, I think, you, the first week, my saying, El Teco, orientation, inspiration, Norwegian culture, language, saying it this way, Norwegian language, Polonius, or let's say, Scandinavia's solitude, egalitarianism, you, equality, class, or government, and in London, Sunny, and heavenly father, is plural, if cats are also against royal Milan, tell someone like tennis, it is that he will appoint etiquette, he will give notice to reserve the owner, TN, long, long, long, long, long, hidden key, rights, when seven golden principles, when it's almost seven pools, it's my interesting, not your kiss, Ivani, you are not wiser than others, you are not stronger than others, you are not more intelligent than others, but you don't need to know, DN, never, Israeli culture, can do DNA, when you are good like others, Kibbutz in the body, the thing is, you are different, that fifty, me, or a superior, twenty, Ida, do you want all the lower, Pineda, stay up late, true humanity, lies, respect, corny concert, you, again, okay, let's assume you had a doctor, not superior to meaning, or writing a gala stent, Satsuki, designer, I have nothing here, nor three, Dr. Grider, no one here, oh, TV, Norse, oh, doctor, and even though that hero, Milo's razor, and after Guy Comanche, pitcher, A Saito, like sake, but somehow, doctor, mall, in Comanche, like a subsidiary, and it was fun, believe us, as soon as possible, I am near the middle Sati area, amore, various AI, go all the way right, I am ready, against Eternia, sister, Lacy, maintain competition, oh, Sistina, monopoly, a Q&A, sister, Renee, the male world, by turn, also knows, reason, or slicer, when sister Nina, when a doctor, can be a woman doctor, Lee, Cistern, equally, race, a geek, behind comments, chorus, Odie, O, Eco, man, will go on top here, inspector, Lego, era, everyone says that in us, how did all that happen, mining, salsa, and PhD, Naga Lee, Mr. Boreal, Paz, Mr. Anis, coastal plain, Reiss, second place, swing in position, consciousness, eyes, or power, either keep your distance, or reconstruct its fatal sign, and come out the winner, and say, believe me completely, Dr. Oxana, Morse code, man, Mikasa, salary, not even, I know what you do in terms of density, at least it goes near O-type, hah, do you, cheese, let's run, just a child, you are respecting, others are running away, because existence, ARCA, existence, Levin, a teenager, spec, it doesn't even matter, you are a super, or a cleaner, or a CEO, you know, the news can roll the car, Akira's sweeper, CL can roll, garage, any earth exists, exactly, whoever is the guru, garage, so new light, Sakina, Congress, in the air, can have any meaning, can have any meaning to be Charon, I know, this company, Mala, Kula, influenza, so Milanesa, near, sock, knee, or salad, don't go to the bed corner shop, which is the second, Ocala, neon sign, they make life simple, like complex, no one can have a bag, Malakara, uneducated, burner, and my little, or simple human, mat, reopened, this will promote Naga Lagi, of course, it is given, I just ate this, I try so loudly, uh, but I think that's the way forward. Narottam Aryal: So, the reason for saying that is that's why we young educators have a slightly open mindset, are a bit collaborative, can unlearn, and can respect and trust each other. If we look at how society is built, there are two fabrics, you see. Anup Ghimire: What are they? Narottam Aryal: One is trust, one is respect. Anup Ghimire: Nice. Narottam Aryal: If I don't trust you, what will I do then? How will I work? If I don't respect you, it's just my own thing. Anup Ghimire: Why would you work? Narottam Aryal: No, it's just my own work and agenda. I don't accommodate your agenda because I don't have respect for you. Anup Ghimire: But then why will you work for someone whom you don't respect? Narottam Aryal: Absolutely. That's why when we, as individuals, have our own interests. That's absolutely okay. That's why you and I collaborating doesn't mean I'm asking you to give your interests to society. It doesn't mean sacrificing for society. We have a common agenda. It's only in the common things. No, when I say common, it means everyone needs it. For example, Bagmati River cleaning, you need it, I need it. The city's traffic system being good, you need it, I need it. That's why the city's system and rules are in place, and we coexist, right? It's okay for me to exercise my individual freedom. What I said earlier might sound contradictory. Because psychologists say people are free and unique. Sociologists say we live in a society, right? So, there's a contradiction in that nature. That's why my own big reflection on that is, which is not new to me, it's just my own reflection, others have already proven it all over the world. That's why I reflected deeply one day on what civilization is. Civilization is nothing but, then, I respect you. Anup Ghimire: So true. So true. Narottam Aryal: That's why if I'm driving a car, I have to stop at the zebra crossing, meaning I am respecting the pedestrians. If I have to stop at the light, it means I am respecting the traffic rules, or that I won't harm anyone, right? Yes, that respect is such a powerful word, practically, truly, deeply. Anup Ghimire: Applying it in small things. Narottam Aryal: Absolutely. And after that, only if there is respect and trust can we do things, otherwise, if public good is not good, then in the long term, my quality of life also decreases. Okay, I am selfish, right? When education is not good here, the industry also suffers. But it's the industry's job, so the industry can say it's your problem, not mine. But when education is not good, they also suffer. Blaming others, this versus culture, leads nowhere. No, saying you are better than me, you ruined it, leads nowhere. So, I am here, you are here, let's work together because these are common areas where only if we work together will there be overall progress for society, of which I am ultimately a shareholder, that's what we need to understand. If there is greenery, I will also breathe it. That's why in a civilized society, what happens is that parks are honored, greenery is honored, traffic rules are honored, people honor the queue. Here, people can't stand in the queue, thinking "I am a big person," and then they go ahead. But if I respect that queue, then everyone will move forward overall. It will take us a lot more time to understand this. Anup Ghimire: Can that respect also be called ownership? Narottam Aryal: Uh, respect might not be ownership, but the ownership of my responsibility can be called ownership, right? Respect means I allow your freedom, right? That's what I feel is respect. Right? I can't disregard your convenience. For example, if my neighbor's dog barks all night, then you, that neighbor, are disturbing me, right? And what we, the current generation, still have to learn a lot, I feel. We have such big parties, we do this and that, and when we are in a group all night, it feels powerful, doesn't it? It feels dangerous. They are partying, but if they party all night, what happens is the other friend, the one next door, is disturbed. In a developed society, what they do is, on weekends, you are free because weekends are for parties. But on other days, you really can't party. The rule is. The reason is, while you exercise your freedom, don't take away the freedom of others, right? Respect them, respect their right to sleep, that's so deep, that's so powerful. We can't appreciate that. We think, "I am powerful, so why should I follow the rules?" And when educators do that, it's really heartbreaking because these values, these sources, should come from us educators, I feel. Anup Ghimire: I wanted to mention something small in context, which you mentioned earlier, about the amount of time I spend with young people and senior people. I spend more time with young people. And lately, I've been feeling like I've been teaching in academia for almost nine months now, right? And in those nine months, I've learned so much, you know? I can't tell you. Right? And in many contexts, for example, I teach Fundamentals of Multimedia, right? And multimedia is also a vague industry. And in that context, I was confused in a few contexts about what my higher pursuit should be, in which vertical of this industry. So, with different innovations, I am very presentation-focused. Everyone has to be involved, everyone has to confront, everyone has to speak, and I focus on public speaking as part of personal growth when I conduct my classes, right? And in that context, in those presentations, students have pitched and presented such amazing ideas in this multimedia industry. I was like, "Nice. I don't even know this." And in that context, also, what happens is, after college, I also work as a marketing consultant, there are video gurus, right? From there, I get many ideas to pitch to my clients, right? Because now you know, for many clients, the target audience is of this age group, right? And how they think, that gives me a bit of a marketing mind, and I realize that generation reacts like this, like this. Narottam Aryal: I want to do a small site. Now, it's such a bad thing, isn't it? For an individual to think they know everything in this vast ocean is such a huge foolishness. No matter how brilliant they are, no matter what. Even if they are. In this, I have a lot of influence and support from my Azar Tost dai. He is a kind of mentor, advisor. I discuss many things with him, and then he used to say something, that this unknown territory is the ocean, right? What we know is just a tiny island. That's why the ocean is always much, much bigger than the island. If we do that, many things become easier for ourselves. I also said before that carrying a lot of baggage in life brings suffering. Again, spirituality or what it teaches is: Don't have that baggage, man. You are nobody, right? And another thing, in this context, I really feel like saying something very interesting. I got a chance to study in Norway, right, for two years. And in that first week, there was an orientation, an induction for Norwegian culture, language, and so on. And in that, the sir who taught Norwegian language said something amazing. This Scandinavia, which is called heaven for egalitarianism, for equality, right? Nobody in Nepal believes it, thinking, "How can this work here?" I felt the same way, thinking, "Let's not go there until we have to." And then he said, why is it like that? Because their DNA, from a long, long, long time back, has something called seven golden principles. I won't say all seven. What's interesting in one of them is: You are not wiser than others. You are not stronger than others. You are not more intelligent than others. This is in their DNA, right? The DNA of the culture. What that means is: You are just as good as others. The thing is, you are different. That's why you are not superior to others. You are not inferior to others. That's a culture that respects true humanity, right? That's why you are a doctor, not meaning you are superior to a nurse. It's really not like that there. It's really not. If you look at the hierarchy of nurses and doctors here, oh, you're a nurse, you're a doctor. And what's funny is, people from the village, after wearing a white shirt, they think everyone is a doctor or a nurse. I'm from Dhading, and if you hear the language we spoke in our childhood, my friends here would die laughing, my urbanized friends. Where we are from, we used to call a sister "sister" too. Anup Ghimire: Sister too. Narottam Aryal: Yes. We had to call her "sister," right? What happened was, "sister" is a male word. So, we had to call them "sister." They used to call nurses "sister," not "sister." And some lady doctors were also called "sister" by people from the village. They would get terribly angry. Anup Ghimire: Ah. Narottam Aryal: It hit their ego, right? Now. Anup Ghimire: Ah, absolutely. Narottam Aryal: And if you call an inspector "Hawaldar Saab," how angry would they get, right? If you call someone who hasn't done a PhD "Mister," how angry would they get? Because here, our status consciousness, this power hierarchy, these distances, this structure is so deadly, right? And with them, absolutely, trust me, there's not much difference in the value of a doctor and a nurse, not even in terms of salary. Anup Ghimire: Nice. Narottam Aryal: Right? Yes, that kind of equality exists there. Yes, that thing shows that you are respecting others, because you respect the existence of others just as much. No matter whether you are a sweeper or a cleaner or a CEO. Because their role, the CEO's role, the sweeper's role, the CEO hasn't done it, man. Have they? Anup Ghimire: Exactly. Narottam Aryal: So, if they are doing their role, why should they be given less respect? I haven't found any reason for that. That also has a big influence on me. So, to be able to unlearn, to be able to respect others, and to be able to say that I don't know everything, to simplify life without complicating it, without carrying baggage, to unlearn, and to understand that I am just a simple human being, of course, as I said before, it might take effort. But, I think that's the way forward. Narottam Aryal: conscious, if you have your own independent choices, then you never regret. I think now we should question what is destination, right? We need to question destination too, because it's not like wherever you stop is the destination. Absolutely, you never know exactly. And for me, to conclude, what I found amazing is, for example, if our podcast's maximum audience is 18 to 60%, 18 to 24, and then 30% from 24 to 34, so it's majorly millennials. It's so motivating. Sense of institution, lead, lead thought process. Definitely, the vibration you are spreading around you is so valuable. Clarify, clarify. For me, another disclaimer. Hate, hate. I don't like career guidance, scope. I absolutely don't believe in that. Absolutely. Expert, experiment, try. So, scope, of course, satisfaction, profession, earn, live, then which comes first? Scope, engineering, computer science, education, education. So, understanding, believe. Human beings, I think 21st-century humans need. You create anything, they will go for it. So, I think AI opportunity, AI jump. Seven billion people, somebody did differently, different things. AI create, blockchain, definitely meeting, democratizing wealth creation. Such a beautiful way to see the whole idea of entrepreneurship. I think again, historically, historically, reality, community, way, profession defined. Teacher, bureaucracy, politics, business, wealth. Certain communities, certain handful people, right? Historically, not blaming anyone, of course. Politics, inclusive bureaucracy, education, wealth creation. 21st-century wealth, define wealth, create opportunity, generation, successor, investment, money attracts money. Philosophy, theory, challenge, challenge. Thanks to this innovation, technology, and startup ecosystem. Startup wealth, create wealth, create wealth, create wealth, create wealth, create wealth, create wealth, create wealth, create wealth. Anup Ghimire: Exactly. Narottam Aryal: And for me, to conclude, what I found amazing is, for example, if our podcast's maximum audience is 18 to 60%, let's say 18 to 24, and then another 30% is 24 to 34. So, the major audience is millennials. It's so motivating, in what sense? Because the thought process of people leading institutions is, "Whatever you do, it's fine. In Nepal, whatever you are passionate about, whatever you want to do, just move forward with that. Success is something you create." That's the mindset, right? Definitely, the vibration you are spreading around you is so valuable. Anup Ghimire: Right. Narottam Aryal: I get a chance to clarify that a bit. Anup Ghimire: Clarify. Narottam Aryal: Not just clarify, but add to it. Another thing I... Anup Ghimire: Not a disclaimer. Narottam Aryal: I guess I have to say something I hate, or rather, a word that doesn't sound too good. I don't like when people say, "If you do career guidance like this, it'll be good, it has scope." Anup Ghimire: We started talking about this, didn't we? Psychometric tests. Narottam Aryal: Personality tests, and then you have to make a choice. I absolutely don't believe in that, absolutely. Because people should be allowed to experiment, try things out, and become experts. Right? So, if you say, "Do this, it's right; do that, it's wrong; it has scope," are you doing it for scope, or for your own satisfaction? Of course, satisfaction. You have to connect it with your profession later, you have to earn, you have to live. But then, which comes first? That's the question. Again, just because something has scope, if you don't like it, you can't force yourself. For instance, you might not want to go into engineering, even if it has scope. You might not want to go into computer science or AI, even if it has scope. If I like education, I should find a way to earn my living from education. Right? So, that's a big understanding and belief I have: that people should become this or that. Is that imposition? Again, don't impose anything on human beings. Anup Ghimire: Exactly. Narottam Aryal: And I think in the 21st century, we need to realize that human needs have become extremely varied. You create anything, and they will go for it. Right? So, I think you don't have to jump into AI just because there's an opportunity in AI. Do what you want to do. And out of seven billion people, every person... Anup Ghimire: Of course. Narottam Aryal: Someone created AI, and then got an opportunity. Before AI came, who knew AI was an opportunity? Anup Ghimire: So that's AI. Narottam Aryal: Somebody did differently, something different, and created AI. Now, we are only focused on AI. There could be something else, BI, maybe someone will create BI. Anup Ghimire: Blockchain. Now people are running behind blockchain. Narottam Aryal: Definitely. Exactly. And this connects to what we were discussing earlier, about entrepreneurship. Last time, during our meeting, one thing you said, one word, really hit me: "democratizing wealth creation." And it's such a beautiful way to see the whole idea of entrepreneurship. Right? Tell me something about that. Anup Ghimire: Exactly. Narottam Aryal: What I feel is, again, this is also being criticized. In Nepal, historically, it's not anyone's fault, but historically, how did it happen? Let's just talk about reality. That community made a mistake, or this is not my statement. For example, our professions were also defined that way. If you were a Brahmin, you had to be a teacher, or go into bureaucracy or politics. If you were a Chhetri, you had to be a soldier. And if you were a Newar, you had to do business. So, when you ask whose hands held more wealth, it was in the hands of certain communities, and a handful of people. Anup Ghimire: Exactly. Narottam Aryal: Right? Historically speaking. Anup Ghimire: Not blaming anyone. Narottam Aryal: Of course, that's how it happened. I said, Brahmins went into this, this happened. That's why professions naturally came about that way. But we have to break that. Everyone should come into politics, be inclusive, everyone should have opportunities. Everyone should come into bureaucracy, everyone should come into education. So, if wealth creation, which defines everything in the 21st century, is concerned, then the opportunity to create wealth, which was previously only available to the rich, their generations, their successors, because the philosophy was "big investment attracts big money." We have to challenge that. We have to challenge that now, thanks to this innovation, technology, and the startup ecosystem. The wave of startups worldwide has done what? Now, it's not just the son or daughter of the rich who becomes rich. Whoever has the idea, whoever has the spirit, whoever has the innovation, whoever has that passion, they can create. Anup Ghimire: Passion. Narottam Aryal: They can create. And after creating, even if you don't have money in your pocket, once you reach a certain level, other investments, thanks to private equity and investors – there's a lot of criticism for that too, of course, but let's not go into that now – once that happens, if they can become millionaires or billionaires, then for these wealth creation opportunities, if we can spread a proper entrepreneur ecosystem throughout the country. What does an entrepreneur ecosystem mean? To promote an entrepreneur, what is needed? Good education. Access to information. Mentors. Access to finance. And once you have all that, and exposure, then anyone can do it. Anup Ghimire: Anyone can attempt. Narottam Aryal: Absolutely. Attempt, exactly right. Thank you so much for correcting. Anyone can attempt. To create that opportunity, we need to bring a thriving, functional ecosystem nationwide. So that we can democratize the wealth creation process. Just like we discussed earlier in the background, information is now democratized, thanks to the internet and technology. Right? Information or media is now democratized. We can run podcasts like this. Otherwise, it would have required billions or crores of investment. Anup Ghimire: Exactly. You'd have to bribe ten people in various places. Narottam Aryal: Absolutely. So, if we can do that, many opportunities will be created, and the landscape of wealth distribution can be changed. That's my personal view. Anup Ghimire: Amazing, amazing idea. So, we're almost at the end. What is your vision now? Narottam Aryal: For me, it's a very simple, very focused, only one goal in life. Always, how many other so-called universities are there? Not just at the gate, but once you go inside and study there, it's good. Many are doing well. Even going up to the gate, feeling proud, taking photos at the gate, saying "I am at such and such institution, Harvard, or MIT, or Stanford." That era is gone. They are great, great institutions. I have a lot of respect for them. But we are not that foolish. We can't even establish such institutions. I'm not saying "Harvard, this is what I'm saying," or "I'm going to create this." No, no. I'm not trying to imitate that either, absolutely not. But what is needed is that progressive education philosophy I mentioned earlier, based on "community as curriculum." Education has to be an integral part of the community. Community, ah, a good word he used, our John Deweys, etc. The community has wisdom. The community also has local technology, local knowledge bases, so many. How to bring that into the education curriculum, that's "community as curriculum." Similarly, whatever education does, it comes with deliberate critical thinking, new things, innovation. That has to solve the community's problems. So, with the belief that we can work hand in hand like this, we have formed a team. And behind that, an independent institution that can offer its own degrees. It's not necessary to be a university; it doesn't have to be a university. In Nepal, universities are currently seen as having to have big infrastructure, thousands of ropanis of land, many huge buildings. Anup Ghimire: And lakhs of students. Narottam Aryal: Thousands of students, all faculty. That concept, it's already changed a lot worldwide. In America, even in India, if you look, IIMs or IITs are not universities, they are institutes. Their names are not universities. Independently, Nepal is diverse in every sense – language, ethnic groups, biodiversity, geography, culture. Looking at all that, why are we always trying to create uniform universities? I don't understand. That's why we are trying to change that kind of, you know, that's why we give space to innovative models, creative models. We want to be small. We want to focus on entrepreneurship, keeping entrepreneurship at the center and building other things. Because Nepal is full of resources. What we haven't been able to do is exploit those resources. For this very reason, to challenge the status quo, to work in new ways, and to mobilize that to address society's problems, with that belief, we need to work together with this progressive model and the community. Because the community itself solves problems, so without understanding the community, without learning from them, how can it be done? So, how can we do that? We are currently making the whole effort to see how we can establish such an independent college in partnership with the community. And within the existing structure, how to practice all those elements, build them up, and move forward by collaborating with everyone. That's our. Anup Ghimire: Which one. Now, for example, with you, in whatever speed, in whatever process, with whatever awareness you have moved forward, right? In that, I can advise something. But then again, because you listen to young people, right? And I think the only way... we have to do it. I know, and I have the courage to come forward in this competition.
