BIJAY LIMBU SENIHANG

Bijay Limbu Senihang is the CTO and co-founder of the cybersecurity company Wide Up, as well as a co-founder of Bhairav Technology. Originally a musician and artist, he transitioned into the technology sector after studying cybersecurity in college, where his final year project was a semi-antivirus. Facing a local market with no established cybersecurity careers after graduation, he began working as an ethical hacker in 2013 and voluntarily assisted the Nepal Police in tracking criminals. He later co-founded Entra Solutions Nepal and Rigo Technology Security, releasing Nepal's first cybersecurity threat report in 2015. Through his entrepreneurial journey, he has scaled his team to over 50 members and led his company to rank 212th globally among top managed security service providers and in the top 50 in Asia.

In his leadership role, Senihang focuses on emotional intelligence, empathy, and leading by example to maintain service quality and motivate his team. He advocates for a customer-centric business model, viewing clients as the heroes of their own security stories and acting as a mentor to resolve their digital confusion. Senihang is a passionate proponent of cyber hygiene, encouraging both individuals and enterprises to adopt preventative measures such as strong passwords, two-step validation, and data backups. He remains committed to simplifying cybersecurity for laypeople and corporate executives, striving to ensure that digital technology serves as a secure boon rather than a curse.
