Shailendra Raj Giri

Shailendra Raj Giri is the Managing Director of merojob, a leading job portal in Nepal, where he focuses on delivering human resource solutions and supporting entrepreneurs. He manages a team of over 140 internal employees and oversees services that support around 2000 workers across various client organizations. Under his leadership, his company successfully transitioned to a remote work model using Redchar soft, a proprietary human resources software his team developed and tested internally for five years. This software has since been launched as a subscription-based cloud service to help other companies manage tasks, attendance, and employee communication.

Giri is a proponent of the work from anywhere concept, a practice he has personally tested to maintain business continuity and boost productivity. While he embraces technological solutions to navigate economic crises, he maintains that technology should not fully replace human-to-human contact, eye contact, and social connections.
